Snake soup (preferbly cobra). 5. What is your favorite Nick at Nite show? Dobie Gillis. 6. Any hobbies? I have a large collection of lint. 7. What cartoon character would you most like to be? The captain of "Fireball XL-5". 8. Do you have a favorite pair of socks? Not anymore. 9. What is your birthday (Year optional) Eighteenth December, the year that birth was optional. 10. Who were your musical influences as a kid? Initially, various purveyors of acoustic folk guitar, Simon & Garfunkel, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Cream, Led Zepplin, old Fleetwood Mac and other English blues ensembles. 2. How old were you when you realized you wanted to get serious with music? About 17. 3. What other bands have you played in? None anyone's ever heard of, such as: Mythril, Zazu (with Steve Jay), Johnny Lyon's The Hitmakers, Natalie Archangel, Frank Booth and the Loveletters. 4. What other instruments do you play? I manage to wrangle sounds from other stringed instruments such as mandolin, banjo, steel guitar, ukelele, tenor guitar and bass. Other than that, I spend considerable time fiddling with electronic keyboards and computers. 5. Do you write songs/movie scores, etc? Yes, mostly instrumental underscores for various action/adventure features one might find in the video store or on cable: "Lady Dragon", "Angel of Fury", "Blood Warriors", "Shelley Duval's Bedtime Stories", "Cousteau" documentaries, etc. 6. Who besides Al have you done session work with? A stellar list of L.A. unknowns. Also, some Scotti Brothers artists. 7. What brand of guitar do you prefer and why? The one I prefer I don't have yet! But I do own some Ibamez's, Washburns, an old Stratocaster and a B.C. Rich. My favorite acoustic is an old Ovation. 8. How did you come to work with Al? I was referred by Steve Jay, who had recently met Al. He auditioned a number of guitarists and I won. 9. Any nicknames? "Nick Aragua", "Jim Jam", "Hey You". 10. Closing comments?
